Pamela Fisher,
Owner, Nationally
Certified Bodyworker Massage Therapist
Graduated
University of Alaska Anchorage Therapeutic Massage Program June '99
Pamela Fisher grew up in the Quad Cities and
graduated from Moline High School in 1977. Three years later she got a
summer job in Skagway, Alaska, and ended up living there for the next
20 years. In early 1998, Pam followed her gut feelings and enrolled in
an acupressure apprenticeship at the Alaska Whole Health Institute,
which led her to the University of Alaska Anchorage Therapeutic Massage
Program. She completed her 500-hour acupressure apprenticeship and her
1,025-hour massage program in June 1999.
Ten days after graduation, Pam had an accident on
her Harley (riding back to Anchorage from the HOG Rally in Fairbanks,
Alaska) and broke her arm, giving her ample time to rethink her future.
At the end of July 1999 as she was about to remove her cast, she made
the life-altering decision to move back to the MidWest to be near her
family. Pam bought a house in Moline, closed her bank accounts in
Alaska, transferred her truck and Harley titles to Illinois, and
settled in for anything but a boring life in the Quad Cities.
Pam opened Touch and Go Chair Massage kiosks at
the Quad City Airport and NorthPark and Southpark Malls, and then
opened Two Rivers Massage in downtown Moline. Since then, Two Rivers
Massage has grown into one of the most recognized and respected massage
therapy businesses in our area.
Pam reorganized and taught the Black Hawk College
600-hour Massage Therapy and Bodywork Program in 2001/2002, and offers
Partner Massage class to anyone who would like to learn how to massage
at home; as well as continuing education courses for massage therapists.
Pam no longer massages. She has developed Two
Rivers Massage and del Sole Barefoot Spa into such a wonderful massage
practice, that her full time job is doing the scheduling, bookkeeping,
marketing, advertising, and basic management of both places. Pam used
to offer d a r n good Swedish and Therapeutic Massage with craniosacral
therapy added in as needed. She used to offers acupressure, hot stone
massage, chair massage, and was THE ONLY THERAPIST IN THE QCA to offer
Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy. Pam formerly taught the Partner Massage
Workshops and offered massage parties in your home or office.
Pam loves to give and receive massages; however,
when she is not working, she can be found riding her Harley (a 2010
FLHXSE3 Screamin' Eagle Street Glide), camping, fishing (fly fishing
preferred), or walking her dog, Buster, an Australian Blue Heeler,
which she found at www.petfinder.com

Marisa Vargas
Nationally Certified Massage Therapist
Graduated
LaJames International College,
Davenport IA Sept 2010
Hey all, I am Marisa Vargas, the wife of Marco and
the mother of 4 wonderful kids all under 6yrs old. When I am not
working, we do family fun stuff like bowling and board games and of
course sleeping, LOL! I am highly involved in ministries at our church
and just love life! I grew up in Muscatine, Iowa and went to high
school there until 1997 when I graduated. I went through the massage
therapy program at La James International College and Day Spa in
Davenport, having graduated in September of last year. My family lives
in Stockton, Iowa...a very small town, which of course is a little ways
from here, but it is so worth the travel time! My motto is "I have
learned to be content in all of my circumstances." So people have been
asking when I first began massaging and I reply "all my life ! it
seems." My friends and family agree...I guess I have been like Tiger
Woods and his golf career at such an early age. What came naturally
with practice, school, and self-motivation is what I am today. People
have commented that I have a very flowing massage style with great neck
work. My favorite style of massage is swedish, but have learned quite
effective ways to accomplish deep tissue and more therapeutic massage.
Best known for my "happy whatever day it is."

Amber Waggoner
Nationally Certified Massage Therapist
Graduated Black
Hawk College Massage Therapy Program, Moline IL Dec '09
Amber graduated from Black Hawk College Therapeutic Massage Program in
December 2009 and started with us right away!
Amber really likes providing Deep Tissue and Trigger Point work because
of the immediate response your body receives when releasing a tied up
and knotted muscle. "It is very fulfilling to see a satisfied
client leave with less pain and more freedom of movement," Amber
says! "It's wonderful!"
Amber has 3 children ages 12, 7, and 6. They enjoy spending time
together playing WII year round, and during the summer, they love
playing disc golf.

Buster Dawg
Meeter-Greeter
Rest In Peace,
Buster!
I had to put
Buster to rest on 3.2.9 due to complications from Cushings
Disease. He will be missed by me as much as by my staff and our
clients! Thanks for loving him - he was a great companion!
Buster is Pam's 9 year old Australian Cattle Dog
(Blue Heeler) who loves to hang out at the office and meet all of our
clients. He is gentle and quiet, and loves a scratch behind the ears,
or a belly rub! During his off time, Buster loves walks at the river,
chasing bunnies and squirrels, and fine dining!!
